Spent Time with Dad
While I was surfing a few days ago, I saw a nordic track coupon code. I was thinking of availing it since they have great discounts on treadmills and ellipticals. I am sure it would have been a great deal.
Anyway, I didn’t avail the said coupon code because of some personal reasons. I was busy attending to my dad. He visited us for Christmas. I want to spend more time with him bonding. So we ate a lot and went to the mall many times. Sure it was one expensive week but my happiness to be with my dad can’t be replaced with money.
Now, he just left us and is sailing towards the city of Manila. He will spend New Year’s Eve there. Sure will miss him!
A Christmas Greeting!
Keeping more than a dozen blogs, two school-aged children, a baby, a husband, mom and dad and your best friend is far harder than working in an office! Sometimes it’s hard to stay sane in a multi-tasking world. Even a single article about spa filters is hard to conceive if you have many people around asking for your attention!
Anyway, the only reason I am explaining this is that…I hope you understand the delay of my Christmas Greetings (*An Idiot Smiling*). So, let me keep this short and simple…MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my readers and visitors!! Hope you have a pleasant one with your family and friends.
Antivirus Software Hunt
Believe it or not, I have done almost 10 system restore in my PC for the past week. Why? Because my husband downloaded and installed something that infected my PC causing it to slow down and sometimes restart. It was very annoying!
Because of my frustrations with my PC’s infection, I decided to look for more stable antivirus software, something that is more updated with PC viruses and runs light in the system. So, I started looking for one.
With several results at hand, I began contemplating of buying the Sun Belt Software. Their antivirus software exactly matches what I am looking for. According to the site where I found it, the antivirus software does not use too much system resources while scanning, meaning it does not slow down your PC. Aside from that, it introduces an all-new technology in fight with PC viruses; it is an antivirus + antispyware engine in one! They use an advance anti-rootkit technology and a cutting-edge proactive protection. It also has a full protection against email-borne threats and very ideal for netbooks (which I am planning to buy) that needs a malware protection. Sounds great right?
Since my credit card is already maxed out, I decided to wait for my credit line to be available. Probably next year, I will get myself one. I need a great PC protection against viruses to prevent myself from massive frustrations!
Prevention is Better than Cure
When we bought an air conditioning unit at home, we didn’t buy it for the sake of luxury. We bought it because it was essential for my children to have a cool environment while sleeping. The reason behind this is that my children sweat a lot while sleeping even in normal room temperature. So to prevent from having asthma attacks, my husband and I decided to get one for them.
Now, our next plan is to buy air filters since an air conditioning unit uses the air inside the house. So normally dusts fill the air and needed to be filtered, not to become fresh air but clean. This is another way we have planned to prevent asthma attacks in our children.
As they say, prevention is better than cure.
Communication Thru Chatting
When my children and I went to our hometown for a few months vacation, the only means of communication we have is through a live chat. Though we are able to talk to each other for more than an hour, I was not still comfortable. It seems some elements of marital communication is missing, like hugs and kisses for instance.
Anyway, we were like that for about 5 months but eventually I went back to Bacolod just to be with him and so as our children too after a few months. So now, I kept on thinking if my husband works abroad, can I accept another live chat type of communication? As for now, all I can say is that I don’t think so. I can’t even bear the thought of him leaving us behind.
