A Christmas Greeting!

Keeping more than a dozen blogs, two school-aged children, a baby, a husband, mom and dad and your best friend is far harder than working in an office! Sometimes it’s hard to stay sane in a multi-tasking world. Even a single article about spa filters is hard to conceive if you have many people around asking for your attention!

Anyway, the only reason I am explaining this is that…I hope you understand the delay of my Christmas Greetings (*An Idiot Smiling*). So, let me keep this short and simple…MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my readers and visitors!! Hope you have a pleasant one with your family and friends.

Free Sub-Domain and Hosting!

Yes! I am giving away free sub-domain hosting at this blog. Since my domain name is www.pinaymommy.com, the free sub-domain hosting is only open to bloggers who are pinays and are mommies. This is good for mommies who are still learning the ropes of using Wordpress as a blogging platform or just want another mommy blog to express their thoughts.

So, what is required of a would-be-hostee? Simple, just follow the simple guidelines below:
1. Filipina Mommies only.
2. Must have an existing blog.
3. Knows how FTP works.
4. Must update the blog at least once a week. If you are going hiatus, please email me.
5. No illegal content such as p0rn, gamb/ing, etc.
6. Do not upload large files such as images, mp3s, videos at others. Host them in free places like Tinypic, Photobucket, Piccassa, YouTube, etc.
7. Back-up your files regularly. I am not liable to any loss if ever something bad will happen to the servers.
8. Lastly, link the following blogs: www.pinaymommyonline.com and www.pinaymommy.com at the footer or sidebar of your blog.

Page Rank One

This is quite exciting. After three months of being down and no updates, this blog got a page rank of one! Isn’t that amazing? Until now, I still couldn’t figure the algorithm on how Mr. Google grants a PR to a blog or a site. The only thing I know is that if you get many quality back links from relevant site, you will get a higher page rank. As for this blog, I only have two exchange links to one mommy blog and one personal blog of a single friend but it granted me a Page Rank One.

Anyway, whatever the cause why I ended up with this page relevance, I don’t care. As long as I have that little green thingy, I am happy.

By the way, how did you do with the last update?

Welcome Back Pinay Mommy!

Yes! I do believe that this is the most appropriate welcome from me for this blog. Why? This blog was down for more than three months because the old server wherein I used to host this blog accidentally lost all my accounts with them including my blog directory. Good thing I have a backup for my blog directory (but I don’t know how to reinstall, so I hired a programmer $$$) and they were also able to save my database backup (but was not able to restore it for me so I did it myself, grrr).

Now, after saving for another annual pay to another hosting company, Pinay Mommy dot Com is back online with its emotional posts restored (no thanks to them).

So before I go on publishing posts here, I need to restore the themes, plugins and widgets back. Though I love this simple default theme, I still want to be unique in my own way even though I am using free wordpress themes. But before that (again), I need to work with my online endeavors. I need to rake in more moolah especially now that I have three children. I need to do it triple time!

Anyway, I will update you guys on what happened in the past three months while this blog was offline. So stay tuned for it!
