Organize and Be Green

Technically speaking, we don’t have a garden. What we have is bunch orchids and some green plants that we adorn our backyard. But what we do have are many plastic containers from my baby’s distilled water, tin cans from my children’s milk and soft drink bottles from our store last year. So, I was thinking since our front yard looks like a storage room than a beautiful front porch, maybe I should avail something like a Duramax Garden Sheds. Then I will put all our recycled items inside it and place additional flowers and plants around our front yard.

So, what do you think? Isn’t it a good idea? Organize all things and still be green?

I Want iPod!

I am a self – confessed gadget addict. In fact every time I see a new gadget advertised on TV or displayed in malls, I always wish that I can have them, too. Like these ipods, which actually not the latest anymore, but still seems to be always “in”. I really like the features of this mobile phone as it has all the elements I need.

Although having this mobile phone may seem like indicate a sort of “status symbol”, but for me this is a must have. In my line of work, as a full time blogger, the features that ipods have is essential for me. I can connect update my blogs, check for online opportunities, check my emails and a lot more with full easy through this phone. I hope I can buy one sooner.

Saving For Future Use

Life has no assurance. That is why I always see to it that I keep something for future use. No matter how hard up we are, I never use this saving unless it is an emergency that involves life and death of some sort situations. I remember a friend who advised me to invest my money on some life insurance which I can depend on every time there is a situation like this that may arise.

I remember how hard up we are when my daughter, Baby Bella, was hospitalized weeks ago because she needed to undergo an operation. If only I have started saving way back, I knew I’ll never have that hard time when she was hospitalized. Now, I have learned my lesson.

Mesothelioma Victims

Have you heard about the other form of cancer which is called Mesothelioma? This type of cancer affects the lungs and is mostly caused by the mineral called asbestos which was used in some industrial companies in the early 60s to prevent fire. Now, most of the employees of the said companies are suffering from Mesothelioma and needs help in asking their employers for financial help t find cure or remuneration for the departed’s family. Some companies pay up when they know that it’s their fault but some company don’t that is why the victims hire a Mesothelioma lawyer to help them get what they deserve.

As for my own opinion, if the company is guilty of using asbestos during the time of a worker’s tenure, they should find ways to help their former employees. It is but ethical to be of assistance to those who suffers Mesothelioma today that is caused by them before.

Sleepless Me

I have been into too much stress lately. After a bumpy marital problem, sick children for weeks and my Baby Bella’s surgery last Saturday, I think I need to use the best eye cream for wrinkles. Having sleepless nights and drained emotions is giving me a lot of stress and thereby giving me a lot if wrinkles too!

Anyway, I am trying to recover by sleeping at night. I want to recuperate from all those sleepless nights but I can’t help but wake up around 3AM which makes me more sleepless still! LOL!

They say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Really? Here in the Philippines, majority of the women here do not get diamonds. Honestly, it would be really nice to have them. Who would not want to have diamond jewelry.

But one can’t be too demanding. And if your lover or husband could not afford them, it doesn’t mean that he loves you any less. After all, diamonds are just material things. Somehow, however, a girl just likes them. Maybe eventually, I can afford to buy some, even just a set. Then in the future, I will also pass it on to my daughter Micah.

Jewish Gifts for Hanukkah

I have always been interested with the Jewish culture. I am even thinking that instead of giving my eldest daughter Micah a debut when she turns 18, I am considering blessing her and throwing her a grown up party on her 13th birthday, much like the Bat Mitzvah.

Another one that I like is their Hanukkah, or the Festival of Lights, which lasts for eight days. A special candle holder that contains 9 candles is lighted during the celebration. One candle is lighted for every day of the celebration. And of course, this celebration is not complete without Jewish gifts for Hanukkah. These are lovely items for every one in the family.

Cold Nights Are Here

Rainy days are here and we are expecting a cold weather, especially during night time. Actually, I am starting to feel the chill in the wee hours of the night and I just have to wear my sweaters. I also put out some for my children to wear during these times.

I just can’t imagine how really cold it can be when you are in other countries where it is snowing. I’m sure the chimneys will start to smoke and thick blankets are out, too, to make the night warmer. I guess some of them have bought this electric blanket where they can plug it to make them as warm as they please. This is something that I want to experience, too – using the electric blanket.

Want My Kids to Have One!

I was browsing from an online toy shop when I saw these big toys called power wheels. As you can see in the photo below, they are indeed power wheels because the children that play with them can really ride on top and drive it.

As a mom, I really want my children to have one like this. I am sure my children will have a great time riding and driving their own power wheels at our neighborhood. Anyway, I just hope they are available here in our place.

Depression

For the past few years, I have been very depressed by the situation my husband and I had. We always fight about the past and about his vices which is drinking and not going home. We were constantly arguing almost every week because of this.

When I was pregnant, I was more pressured that sometimes I hoped that I would undergo a rigid treatment for depression because I no longer inspired to blog, to eat and to do things. I just wanted for time to stop.

But praise to God, I was able to overcome these things. God is good to make me realize the grace and blessings He has given me. He is goo all the time.

Anyway, I still feel depress at times but I just think of God’s goodness and my children, then I find myself back on the track!
