It is really a problem for me now to get fit. Whereas in the past that I only need to maintain my figure, now I have to work really hard in order to have a nicely sculpted figure!

But you know what? I have started and stopped, started and stopped my dieting and exercise regimen. I really want to maintain what I have started but sometimes life doesn’t just work with me. So I would lazy again and well, the rest is history.

Sometimes I would watch TV and see those gymnasts in the pull up bars and get jealous at how light their bodies are. Of course, I know that I could not be like them anymore because I am already quite advancing in age, but what I admire about them is the passion and perseverance that they put into every practice session in order to stay in shape. I wish I have the same determination as they have. Haha

Oh well, I will just have to focus my energies. Once I have settled down already and know what I am going to do in the coming weeks then maybe I can once again resume working out and dieting.

My husband rarely wears formal clothes. He only wears them if he needed to attend an event that requires him to wear one.

Anyway, speaking about formal wears, when my husband saw golf cuff links given to my father, he asked me what it was. He thought it was a huge button or something. When I explained to him what those golf cuff links were used for, he just laughed. He said he never knew that these things. LOL!

Like everyone perhaps, I too have my dreams and aspirations for myself and for my family. I would like to live in a secure and established home with a house of our own—as in under our name. It does not have to be a villa in Switzerland or a chateau in France, but as long as it is ours, I am already happy.

But sometimes, I also dream of living in an elegant home that is fully furnished with plush furniture and settings and Quoizel lighting. I have been in some homes like that in the past and the simple grandeur of these homes appeal to me. They do not look extravagant, just simple but elegant. I love clean lines and earth toned paints mixed with the refreshing sight of fresh green plants inside the home. Not only do live plants provide fresh air inside the house, they provide color and a break from the monotony of the interior.

Ahhhh…someday…it is my prayer that I will get to live in such a house. And I am going to call it my own.
