It’s that time of the year where the man of the house gets to be greeted and gets special treatment again! It’s Father’s day! Have you been looking for good fathers day gifts? It’s not easy, isn’t it? What could make a father smile? A simple greeting card? A poster hanging on the wall? A sumptuous dinner? A bundle of roses? Oops! I guess that’s more like for mommies! Or maybe personalized gifts like pens and shirts would be perfect.
Looking for a gift for fathers could be a challenge but the key there would be to look for something that they would truly enjoy and cherish over the years. It does not have to be expensive. What counts is the thought that one special day, they were remembered by their loved ones and were given honor for the hard work they do for their families.
When it comes to giving gifts to our fathers, we don’t have to have second thoughts. Make it as special as it can be!
Inasmuch as I want to garden, I really don’t have the time and energy for that. I have many blogger friends who garden and I could just admire their flowers or their backyard vegetable gardens from their photos. I did play “Farmville” before, and it gave me a feel of what it is like to be a farmer or a gardener. Haha! Everything seems to be virtual for me nowadays. But really, I need to go out one time and enjoy the beauty of a real flower, lavish my eyes with beautiful scenery and just bask myself in nature. If not careful, working online could very much deprive us of those. So I will see to it that I do that!
Sometimes I do wonder if we had a garden ourselves or a big yard where the kids can play. It’s a nice thought, but mowing the lawn would be an added chore and I don’t know if I or hubby would ever want to do that. If that happens, maybe we would need one of those simplicity zero turn mowers to get the job done.
I call our new home “headquarters”—quite a name, right? In all honesty it really is. If you come to our house, it’s bustling with activity… day and night. There’s work anytime of the day (and night, too! :p ). I and my computer are two hardworking busy buddies!
One thing that I like about working at home is that I can work or not work anytime. I was once an employee before, and I cannot begin to tell you how rewarding it is just to stop working anytime of the day when I need to take care of the kids or when I feel like my eyes would have to have that much-needed rest.
People call me a stay at home mom—but I would like to add one very important word, please? Call me a Stay at home working mom. With my computer, printers ink cartridges and lots of coffee, I am on the go!
