I’m becoming more and more forgetful as days go by. This is probably because a lot of things are going on in my mind. It really is tough being a mother, homemaker and breadwinner all rolled into one. But it’s something I have to do not because I have no choice but because that is my task in life.

A couple of days ago, I was outside running some last minute errands for my eldest daughter’s birthday celebration and before I went out, I reminded myself that I had to buy some office supplies because I had to do something for my business. But I left and came back home with nary a trace of the supplies I needed.

The thought completely escaped my mind! So I had to put that important task on hold until I’m finally able to go out again and buy the materials I need. I just hope I won’t forget this time.

I think I am up for shopping again. I think I need new clothes. I know that I don’t got out much but sometimes a girl has just got to have some new clothes, right? And my feet are itching to go out and go grab myself some new stuff.

And I am seeing beads! Lots of them. Yeah, beaded blouses are really in. Most of the time, the beads are really glittery but there are those subdued wooden beads as well. And they make the blouses really nice and womanly. They also make for not so casual or rugged wear, but something that you can wear to church with a pair of plain slacks or to a PTA meeting. I love the new fashion!

Next payday, I will surely make a visit to a shop and get myself even just a couple of new blouses. After all, I deserve to buy stuff for myself after working long hours every day. It’s a date!
