I have browsed through an online fitness magazine lately and learned that there are a couple of new products for weight loss. Seriously, two new ones?

Honestly, I do not know what to believe anymore. In the past, you just eat less and move your body to burn off calories and that should get your body to be in shape. But now, we have to have weight loss supplements so that we don’t have to work hard and get fast results.

Each and every brand is competing for the title of being the best weight loss supplements, but because there are thousands of brands in the local and international market, what really works?

I really dunno. I guess for me, a good fat burner and appetite suppressant would certainly help me if these are combined with a stable and secure diet, ample rest, and regular exercise. I guess nothing can beat this combination.

I remember that a friend of mine from the United States waited until he can come home to get his dentures fixed. He said that having it done in the US costs the same as his round trip plane ticket to the Philippines, so he decided to wait it out, spend his money for his plane fare and paid so little for his dental treatment here. He opted for this because he did not have dental insurance so whatever dental treatments that he would get, he will have to personally pay for them.

The same thing is true for prescription eyewear. Here in the Philippines we can easily get cheap eyeglasses. We go to the mall, get a free check up and if there is something wrong with our eyes, we immediately get a pair for around 10$. For nicer frames, the eyeglass pair starts from 20$.

I guess those are some of the perks of living in the Philippines. At least, you get these important customized items rather cheap. But then again, income is also lower here. Hehe Oh well, if given the chance, I think it would also be nice to try living in America just to find out how it is.

I would really like our family moments to be more frequent. Hopefully, when my youngest would be older, we can get to do more things together, like have a picnic, go swimming, sing on a videoke bar, or just play video games together.

One of the things that I would like to buy eventually is a wii because with that, we can just stay home and play a game or simulate events. We can even set up a band with wii. Since my husband can sing and play the instruments, he can teach our children. And I can sing with them. I think that is a great way to bond as a family. I am pretty sure that my kids would love that, too.

We can also have a dance application with our wii and we can dance altogether. But I think that with this app, we can better enjoy it if we have a wii motionplus because dancing requires more complicated actions. That will enable the wii to detect our dance movements. Haha I can only imagine.

I hope that this year I can be able to plan out more activities for our whole family. My kids are growing up so fast and I know that when they become teenagers, it would be another phase of their growing up that I will have to deal with. So I have to make the most of our time now that they are still considered kids.
