Four season countries might still be contending with the cold weather. Some are probably even experiencing the height of winter at this time.

But in tropical countries, we are already ushering summer! Now it is time to take out board shorts, swimsuits, Costa Del Mar Sunglasses, sunscreen, and other swimming paraphernalia for jaunts at the beach or the pool.

Even though it is almost summer all year round in the tropics, there is so much hype during the summer months because there is no school. So you can really expect that young people would want to make the most of their break.

Watching ESPN and other sports networks, I notice that the wintry states have sports like snowboarding. Here in Mindanao, we have wakeboarding. And both sports use goggles to protect the eyes from the snow and the salt water, respectively.

But what I didn’t know was that, different sports use different kinds of goggles. Like for example, athletes would look for the best snowboarding goggles from winter collection shops in order to take with them to skiing lodges. On the other hand, wakeboarders would probably just use regular goggles used for swimming. I really would not know the difference, I am not into both sports. Tsk tsk…I am such a geek.
